DRAWING ANIMALS.

As I promised you, I've uploaded several activities for learning to draw some animals begining with simple and easy shapes such as geometrical schemes or " key patterns". At first sight, you may think it's very difficult , but it isn't. Just , try and train it!

VALENTINE´S CARDS, 5th A and B grade.

Kids have worked very hard to make cards to gift them to their relatives and friends. Although the craft was a little complicated, most of them were be able to finish the present by themselves alone. I hope you have been the lucky one to have recived one of them.

THE SOLIDARITY SNACK DAY: AFRICAN PICTURES

As everybody know, on March 12th, we all will celebrate a very relevant meeting for our School.
The main ending consists on collecting money for the Little African village Burkina Faso.
There will be a large variety of activities, as you can see in the publicity of our blog, so it could be a good idea, to decorate the place with African decorative elements such as : pictures ( theme: "woman in Africa"), colourful borders on the walls, etc.
Students from 5th grade will paint traditional African Pictures: background with warm colours( orange, yellow, red,...) and black shadows of African women and girsl.

Below, you´ll see some examples and some useful patterms:

´

Tecnique: Water colours, tempera and collage.
Colours : yellow, red, orange, black, Brown, yellow-orange, etc.
Materials: brushes, temperas and a White card sheet. Several decorative elements: earings, sparkly crayons, clue, colourful and bright papers...

AND YOU NEED YOUR CREATIVITY...OF COURSE!!!!!!

Thanks for your colaboration in this activity
