AMAZING ANIMALS PROJECT.

 

Desde el área de Lengua Extranjera Inglés, desarrollando la SdA3 (Amazing Animals), los alumnos y las alumnas de 3ºC y 3ºD han realizado este mural dentro del proyecto "Amazing Animals Project". En dicho proyecto los alumnos y las alumnas han trabajado contenidos referidos a animales asombrosos de forma cooperativa. Se ha trabajado las cuatro destrezas ( listening, reading, speaking and writing). Han elegido un animal asombroso. Posteriormente han completado la información sobresu animal usando las TIC. Finalmente han expuesto sus trabajos de forma oral y en grupo. En este proyecto se han integrado otras dos áreas: "Science" y "Art".

CHANDELEUR ...BON APPÉTIT!

 Bonjour,

Je m'appelle Flavie, j'ai 21 ans et je viens de Nantes près de la Bretagne ( Nord Ouest ) et chez moi le 2 février nous célébrons La Chandeleur, la fête des chandelles, et plus précisément la fête de la lumière. Nous célébrons ce jour en préparant des crêpes car celle-ci avec leur forme ronde et jaune ressemblent au soleil ! Ensuite nous les dégustons en famille ! Voici ma recette de crèpes : on mélange 250g de Farine, 3 oeufs, 50g de sucre et 1/2 L de lait jusqu'à obtenir une pâte bien liquide et ensuite à l'aide d'une louche on verse la pâte dans une poêle beurrée au préalable ainsi on obtient de bonne crêpes bretonnes au bon goût de beurre et de sucre ! Pour les plus gourmands on peut rajouter sur les crêpes de la pâte à tartiner, du miel, de la confiture, du caramel au beurre salé ou encore de la crème de marron, etc... Bon appétit !

SALONI CELEBRATES "DIWALI" FESTIVAL IN OUR SCHOOL

 

Hello! I'm Saloni from India. As you all know, India is a country which has people of many religions and hence we celebrate many different festivals. One such major festival celebrated is Diwali - also known as the festival of lights. It is mainly celebrated by the Hindus, Sikhs and Jains. This festival symbolises the victory of light over darkness. Normally, the schools and colleges have a short vacation during these festive days. Decir "adios", no es nada fácil, en cualquier idioma y más cuando se han vivido tantas emociones y se han compartido tantas vivencias a través del aprendizaje.

SOLAR SYSTEM PROJECTS GRADE 4th

 

El "project Solar System" se ha llevado a cabo desde el área de Inglés. Los alumnos/as han alcanzado los objetivos asimilando vocabulario, expresiones e información acerca del sistema solar. Se ha trabajado con el área de Sciences and   "Art". Este vídeo muestra la exposición de un alumno de 4°C .

SCIENCE WITH BERNICE

 In science class with 3rd and 4th grade, we did two experiments on mass and volume.

We tested a flat vs inflated balloon to see if air had mass.

Later we tested a square box vs a rectangular box to see which one could contain more rice

In science class with 3rd grade, we learned about attraction and repulsion between magnets. 🧲  We made some magnets float!

Then we tested different kinds of materials: carton, wood, plastic, cloth, steel, silver, and aluminium. There were three kinds of metals, but we learned that magnets don't work with all metals!
